To Our Australian Colleagues:
or anyone else familiar with Chinese artifacts. A friend of mine acquired
an intact Martaban Jar at an estate sell in California. He states that it
has Chinese calligraphy on the side and is seeking additional information
about such jars. He doesn't provide a size, but I understand they come in
various sizes. It is covered with the brown-black glaze, but stops short
of the base. Any help in the direction of finding sources of information
would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.....
