sci.agriculture.beekeeping is another area for bee discussions and
anything goes there.  No moderation, no rules, and it seems fairly busy
lately.
 
Originally set up to cover beekeeping as opposed to bee biology (which was
the original mandate of BEE-L),  sci.agriculture.beekeeping has recently
gotten busier.  Of course BEE-L is now a bee discussion group and includes
beekeeping.  There are other more specialized bee lists as well,
worldwide, some of which can be found at
