On the subject of replacement queen temperament James Bach wrote " A daughter
queen being from a fertilised worker egg is the offspring of the queen and the
drone OR DRONES (my emphasis) with which she mated." James, did you really
mean to say this? The implication is that a single egg may be fertilized by
more than one sperm which is, I believe, not the usual practice. Perhaps you
meant "the offspring of the queen and one of the drones with which she mated"
