Michael,

I directed investigations under the foundations of a lighthouse keeper's
residence from the 1890-1957 period. My work is under analysis at this time,
but we are pretty far along. Have your friend direct questions to me and I
will answer them.

Virgil Noble, National Park Service, published a book on testing around
several lighthouses.
