The Jessie Ball duPont Pre-Doctoral Scholars-in-Residence Fellowship
Program consists of one-year Fellowships for ABD (All-But-Dissertation
completed) doctoral students. Based on the candidate pool for each year,

up to four duPont fellows will be selected based on their overall
quality
and skills they could bring to the college.

Each one-year fellowship will be under the sponsorship of a faculty
member at Sweet Briar College, and carries a stipend of $12,000, plus a
limited housing stipend, moving expenses, and travel. Each DuPont Fellow

will teach one course per semester and participate in the activities of
the Honors Program.

Please visit the website at www.honors.sbc.edu for more information or
contact Katherine Frank at (804) 381-6204.

*** Prof. Amber Bennett would be very interested in sponsoring a duPont
Fellow in Historical Archaeology. You can reach her at [log in to unmask]
or 804-381-6127. ***
