While this discussion is interesting I would suggest that many of you get in
touch with a skilled prehistoric archaeologist. Bioturbation is a major concern
for prehistoric archaeologists and they (we) have developed some rather nifty
methods to deal with the concern. Bottom line is that you are discussing site
formation processes of which bioturbation is one aspect.
