Megan,

Excavations at the Luyster house went well. We have quite a backlog of
artifacts to process. Most were 19th century, but there were some
18th-century deposits. In fact, we even found some nice redwares with
distinctive Dutch forms. The biggest surprise was finding the barn's
foundation. The field it was located in was never plowed after it burned and
even the footers were in place!

Thanks for agreeing to give a paper. When things are at the right stage
I would love to take a peek at the Allen House artifacts.
