This may not be the most appropriate place to post this, but...

I'm looking for responses from people who have had experience in the use
of substitute materials on historic building exteriors. Basically, I'd
like project descriptions, problems encountered, what works, what doesn't.

I'm preparing a little presentation/discussion on the Dept. of
Interior's Preservation Brief # 16 for a seminar and would like to
incorporate examples of how people have dealt with restoration and
substitute materials.

Also, does anyone know of any preservation listserves or newsgroups ?

Thanks in advance.
