What a fabulous period in music history. You must go to your library and
read up on ragtime, birth of Jazz, the bluesmen in the American South,
classical music in Europe... and of course, religous, regional and ethnic
music. There are tremendous sources on the period, and quite a few record
compilations. Be sure to check for Vinyl and CD recordings.
