Hi Everybody:
Goat's milk is nearly as high in water content as human milk; as baby goats
feed lots. I have heard anecdotally of babies doing okay with it; although my
friend's daughter is very stubborn (:-D).....I don't know of any research
studies. It all makes me wonder: why should goats milk be any better or worse
than cow's milk? Goats are a lot smarter than cows, so the proteins of a goat
milk might be more similar to human than a cow. The best might be chimpanzee
milk, as they are closest genetically to humans (thanks Kathy D for a great
session in Delaware a few weeks ago!), but how can one get chimpanzee milk?
Just some random thoughts on a rainy day. Warmly, Nikki
