Thank you for all the helpful tips on how to live trap our little nocturnal
friend.  He continued to ripe up our lawn during the night.  And after trying
to live trap him for several months, 9 raccoons and 4 opossums later we had to
make a very difficult decision.  I had to apply granular insect killer over
the whole lawn.  I am normally against all pesticides.  For the last two weeks
there has been no diggings, only an occasional test hole.
