Publicize your programs in the
2000 ARCHAEOLOGICAL FIELDWORK OPPORTUNITIES BULLETIN

The Archaeological Institute of America (AIA) invites you to participate in
the preparation of the 2000 Archaeological Fieldwork Opportunities Bulletin
(AFOB). The AFOB lists excavations and surveys with openings for volunteers
and staff, as well as educational programs including field schools, study
tours, and museum internships. It is available to the public on the first
of January each year.

To be included in the 2000 AFOB, please fill out this form and return it by
no later than October 20, 1999. Submission by mail or fax of previously
prepared materials, such as flyers or brochures, is acceptable. If all
your details are not fully finalized by the deadline, your program may
still be included with a notation of whom to contact for more information.

This year, the AIA is also working on a Web version of the AFOB. This
project is still in the preliminary stages, but will allow us to accept
updates to field schools if dates or other information change. Please
contact Margo Muhl Davis at the number listed below for more information

We hope you will contribute to our publication. This is a unique
opportunity to publicize your program and to recruit volunteers, students,
and staff. We look forward to hearing from you.
