"RFP" is a "Request for Proposal," usually, a request for bids on a
contract, sometimes a request for responses to a grant-giving agency.  Re
the on-going debate about jargon, "RFP" is CRM-ese.  I don't know what
Foucault would say about that, if he could say anything.
