Richard Grubb & Associates is a cultural resource management firm serving the
mid-Atlantic region. Our main office is centrally located in Cranbury, near
Princeton, New Jersey one hour from New York City and Philadelphia.
 
The firm is looking for a highly qualified and motivated individual to fill
the newly created position of Director of Archaeological Operations. Expansion
of the firm's business has necessitated the creation of this position. The
individual will work closely with the firm's upper management and will be
responsible for the quality control aspects of all archaeological projects
conducted by the firm as well as running his/her own projects.
 
Applicants must have at least the following to be considered: a Masters Degree
in Archaeology or related field (Ph.D preferred), 5+ years experience in the
cultural resource management field at a supervisory level, a thorough
knowledge of all applicable federal and state regulations, superior computer
skills, including experience with Windows 95, WordPerfect, Excel, Paradox or
equivalent, ability to write proposals and mitigation plans, and superior
communication and personnel management skills.
 
Full-time, salaried position with full range of benefits including retirement
plan. Wide salary range, $41,600.00 - $56,160.00. Individual must be willing
to start immediately or no later than April 1, 1999.

Permanent, full-time position with benefits.  Seeking a professional meeting
National Park Service qualifications (36 CFR 60) for Section 106 studies,
cultural resources investigations/ environmental review, National Register
nominations, and HABS/HAER documentation.  Position requires strong research,
writing, and communication skills and will include project management, client
and review agency relations, directing research staff, and proposal writing.

professional with prior experience in the cultural resource management field
to organize and run field projects, conduct artifact and data analysis, and
write reports and proposals.  Experience with WordPerfect, Excel, Paradox or
equivalent.  Looking to fill 1-2 full-time positions. Preference in one
position given to historical archaeologists.
