Although this is a first for me have you heard of this?
Mom is preg complaining of intermittent severe breast pain, due in two
weeks with their first child. In the early weeks of preg she said when
she was chilled, her nipples became erect and it felt as though her
nipples were being twisted. Then in the third and fourth month of preg
she began experiencing intermittent shooting pains in each breast. Now,
she feels a painful intermittent tightening in her breasts mostly in
the outer quadrants which she presses firmly when it occurs. She says
sometimes she can make it stop while other times it radiates to her
nipples and it feels like someone is gripping her nipples with plyers.
She reported this to her doctor and he told her to wear nipple sheilds.
I told her I owuld post to the world of experts and await your replies.
She wants to nurse but is afraid if it feels anything like this now,
what's she in store for soon. I wonder about yeast...her last yeast inf
was 7 years ago, no current hx antibiotics. Could this be ductal spasms
now??? Please let me know, either privately or to the list. Thank you
both on her behalf and mine!
