In a message dated 98-02-19 19:27:04 EST, you write:

<< I then add a queen excluder and another shallow super
and line this with paper towels. >>

Frank - Are the paper towels to serve as a filter? Would cheesecloth do as
well? Had you experimented with painting the inside of the supers black to
absorb the sun? Do you tilt the contraption?

I had a solar melter but it finally rotted and I am too thrify to buy another
one when
your idea sounds so good.

Thanks, Faith
