Re: Broken bottles and scatters of bones on ground
surfaces.
 
Thanks for picking up on the bones, Linda Derry.  I don' t know what
they mean.  They puzzled me and I was indirectly fishing for feedback
about why they were there, because in fact it seemed unlikely that
the rats brought them (and did not chew them, etc.). So, another
question. Were, or Why Were, whole animal bones deliberately laid on
the ground surface under floorboards? (or in your case, supposed
planting beds) - sometimes in conjunction with broken bottles.
