PRECONFERENCE WORKSHOPS AT THE SHA/ACUA CONFERENCE IN QUEBEC CITY
Seven workshops are being held on Wednesday, January 5, just prior to the
2000 Society for Historical Archaeology-Advisory Council on Underwater
Archaeology conference in Quebec City (meeting dates January 6-9). Please
consider signing up for one (or more!). Note that prices are in U.S.
currency, and there is a regular AND student rate for registration. For
complete information on the workshops, check out the SHA website
(http://www.sha.org). Download the registration form or sign up on-line, via
the the secure server. All workshops are held at the conference hotel, with
the exception of "Coping with Saturated Artifacts." Unless already fully

Coping with Saturated Artifacts: Conservation Workshop for the Nonspecialist.
Cost is $80, $50 for student members of SHA.

Archaeological Illustration. Cost is $65, $50 for student members of SHA.

Cultural Landscapes. Cost is $175, $140 for student members of SHA.

Half-Day Workshops
Morning
Practical Forensic Bioarchaeology for the Historical Archaeologist.Cost is
$55, $40 for student members of SHA.

Identification and Analysis of Military Artifacts. Cost is $55, $40 for
student members of SHA.

Afternoon
Introduction to the National Register of Historic Places. Cost is $40, $25
for student members of SHA.

Dating Glass Tableware 1800-1940. Cost is $55, $40 for student members of SHA.
