The Eastern States Archaeological Federation will be meeting in Mount Laurel,
New Jersey on November 7th, 8th, and 9th (1997).  I am organizing a general
session on historical archaeology in the eastern United States.  Anyone
interested in participating should contact me--the sooner the better.  Papers
on current research, field methods, and theory are all welcome.
