Dear Chris and Histarchers,
 
There is no substitute to actually being able to view an object. It was
great to be able to see Chris' slate. Thanks Chris. Now we can also view
Susan Piddock's intriguing shard at the flick of a button.
 
Speaking of illustrations I'd like to thank Karlis Karklins for arranging
to send that wonderful Lynne Sussman book - huge number of Copeland/Spode
designs.
