looking for:
        1) e-mail/other addresses for professional archaeological associations
in US/Canada/elsewhere - also feedback r.e. their effectiveness/shortcomings,
etc.
        2) responses from archaeologists in Germany: what do they think about
the need for such a professional association?
        3) address for a mailing list on archaeological theory: keep finding
references to "ARCH-THEORY" (or variants) but keep getting error messages in
return
        4) thoughts/opinions/personal experiences with use of Harris Matrix: we
are finishing the first German translation of Harris' "Principles of
Archaeological Stratigraphy," and trying to convince certain conservative
elements as to its need; have also been contacted by a student researching the
matrix, and would like to be able to offer her something to write about
        5) leads to programs for drawing Harris Matrices? Dr Harris himself just
told us about something out of Italy, and there are rumours about something
happening in Bonn, and from someone out in Arizona (Dr. Kintagh? my e-mails came

back with the usual error messages attached)
        to keep from jamming up the HISTARCH list with stuff most people might
