Friends,
My honeybees were carting in pollen on January 9!
Curious, I checked the swamps in the woods behind my house.
Sure enuf, the skunk cabbage was starting to bloom!
Obviously because of the warm Jan weather.
In prior years, never happened until mid-Feb.
Question: what does this portend for my mid-June honey harvest?
