The nurses who were previously assigned to the nursery - (caring for the
babies arriving and being held in the nursery) - rotate among the birthing
rooms for deliveries to provide care and assessment etc at the mother's
bedside.
This may lead to cross-training of staff. Be ready to propose an outline for
the breastfeeding support component.
