FYI--I am told that San Antonio Missions NHS in Texas has a GS-11
archeologist vacancy (pays about $40K, plus benefits, at the entry
level). An excerpt from the vacancy announcement follows. The full
job description and application materials can be found at the Office
of Personnel Management website <usajobs.opm.gov>. Search by currents
position, either by agency (NPS) or alphabetically. Lots of other
archeology vacancies are posted there, as well. A handy thing to know
if you're in the market for any federal government position in the
U.S.
The application period closes 5/28/99.
