Friends,
As posted several weeks ago, we are currently putting together a symposium on
French Colonial settlement archaeology for the SHA 2000 meetings in Quebec
City. The session will focus largely, but not exclusively, on agrarian
settlement ca. 1600-1900, rather than the more typical fur trade or missionary
themes.
We've had a pretty good response from people working in North America, but
have had no responses from areas such as the circum-Carribean region or
Africa. Would be very interested in any leads to researchers working in these
regions, or elsewhere (including North America).
Thanks in advance.
