Anita,
The Florida Park Service has a few buildings that may interest
you. The Gregory House at Torreya State Park was moved by the CCC to
form one of the first state parks in 1933-36 from one side of the
river to the other. Ft. Foster was reconstructed according to
descriptions and archaeological information. Marjory Kinnan Rawlings
site had a barn reconstructed according to pics and archaeological
information. Forest Capital had farm buildings moved from other sites
to the site they are at now. The cigar worker's houses in Ybor City
were moved from another section of the city to the spot they now sit
on. If you are interested in a site that has problems due to the
relocation and reconstruction the St Claire Whitman site in Cedar Key
might fit the bill. The person to talk to will be back on Monday,
Jan 5, 1998. He is the Historic Preservationist for the State Parks
and would be able to give more background and who to talk to for
further information. His name is John Scafidi,
[log in to unmask] or at (850) 488-5090.

        Hope this may help you.
