A number of years while excavating at Fort Mchenry, Maryland we unearthed
several cannonballs.  Our best source of information was the NPS
Archaeology Lab at Harper Ferry, West Virginia.  Another good source for
information on ordnance is the U.S. Army's Ordnance Museum at the Aberdeen
Proving Grounds, Aberdeen, Maryland.
