Oral History. The Oral History Program of the University of Nevada Reno
invites applications for Senior Oral Historian, an administrative faculty
position. Qualifications: M.A. in history, anthropology, English or
related field; minimum of one year's experience in oral history;
well-developed research, writing, oral communication skills. Computer
abilities beyond word processing are desirable. Responsibilities: Plan and
supervise projects, secure external funding, conduct and edit oral
histories, supervise clerical/production staff. To apply: Send letter of
application, vita, and names, addresses and telephone numbers of three
references to: Oral History Program, Mail Stop 324, University of Nevada,
Reno, NV, 89557. Deadline for receipt of applications is 14 November 1997.
References should write only at the request of search committee. The
University of Nevada is an AA/EOE employer.
