Bishop Museum, the State Museum of Natural and Cultural History, Hawaii,
announces two (2) open positions.  Please respond to the Personnel

Bishop Museum, Anthropology Department, invites applications for an
assistant anthropologist position in historical archaeology. Minimum
requirements include a M.A. in archaeology or anthropology. Preference given
to candidates with prehistoric as well as historic experience, practical
training in directing CRM field investigations and writing reports that meet
schedule and budget requirements, ability to work as a member of a team
within a multicultural community, and experience or interest in Hawai'i or
Pacific archaeology. Competitive salary, excellent benefits and partial
reimbursement of relocation expenses. Interested persons please send a cover
letter, vita, names of three references, and two writing samples (including
