Eric--thanks for the note. This piece is definitely salt glazed stoneware. It
has a thin light gray--almost white body and blue accenting on the exterior.
The only question I really have about it is whether I am seeing a CR or a GR.
Several folks have pointed out CR marked pieces from 1670's contexts, but none
excatly like this one (naturally). Thanks--Carl Steen
