This topic has been covered extensively in here in the past.  Of course
there is great need for additional new ideas and nutritional information,
as well as experiences but for the basics, consult your beekeeping texts
and search the BEE-L logs for 'supplement', 'substitute', 'pollen' and/or
'patties' as well as 'nutrition', and 'protein'
