No, Mr. Heite, I think it depends on my definition of archeology. Just because one is digging in the ground, and/or finding old things and saving and analyzing them and all those other things we think of archeologists doing, does not mean one is practicing archeology. I am an archeologist but if I do not go to the project with an anthropological question (research design) I am not doing archeology. I may be doing any number of wonderful things like solving legal issues or collecting knowledge for metallurgical studies, but I am not doing archeology.
