To all of Mike's friends,

Mike suffered a set-back yesterday afternoon, but as of last night he was
doing as well as possible. I'm waiting on more information today.

I've been asked to enlist your help in a small problem that has arisen. The
hospital is being somewhat innundated with calls asking for updates on
Mike's condition. The only answer that the nurses will give out is that
he's still critical, the calls will not be passed on to Linny. The problem
is that there are a few calls that she really does need to take (e.g.
Mike's brother called from England recently), and we run the risk of those
important calls not getting through because there are so many calls coming
in to the nurse's station. So, could I get your help letting people know,
*please* don't call the hospital. I will continue to let all of you know
about any changes in his condition as soon as I'm able.

Toni Montague
