Several years ago, our firm had the opportunity to excavate a mid-nineteenth
century schoolhouse here in southeastern Michigan. Not surprisingly (at
least not to us), we didn't find much except a few toys and architectural
debris. We would be very interested in hearing the results of anybody else's
forays into this specialized area of critical research. Particularly
interested in published references, gray literature, etc.

If the responses are significant, I will compile and retransmit to the list.

Thanks in advance.
