Dear Lactnetters-
I am excited that I have the opportunity to speak to a class of high
school students about breastfeeding on the 23rd of this month. I plan to use
Linda Smith's tasty tool of putting out homemade and store bought cookies.
Usually the homemade cookies disappear and the store-bought remain
(WARNING---DO NOT USE OREOS :) ). THen ask the class why more of them ate
the homemade---things like they tase better, are softer, have more natural
ingredients, etc usually come up. Then, of course, this relates to feeding
babies...
I am looking for more fresh ideas on
*what to teach
*how to spark interest/discussion
*visual aides
Please send your ideas to [log in to unmask]
I know we've discussed this before...but I'll bet there are still good ideas
out there!
Thanks!
