I have had success with the following subject search format:
 
SEARCH queen IN bee-l WHERE SUBJECT CONTAINS splits
 
You must of course, send the message to the LISTSERVER at Albany. This one
produced 40 articles, each of which contained the word " queen " and
listed "splits" as its subject
