Since Anita's forward didn't have exactly the info requested, I am adding
the following:   To SUBSCRIBE to HISTARCH, send the command:
 
             SUBSCRIBE HISTARCH your-name
 
with no subject and just that command in the body of the message
to the listserv address <[log in to unmask]>.  Note the difference
between the listserve address and the list address!
