John McCarthy (current editor of African-American Archaeology, Newsletter of 
the African-American Archaeology Network) and I (immediate past editor of the 
newsletter) would like to announce that the electronic version of the 
newsletter on the web has been designated as a *Scout Report for Social 
Sciences Selection*, by the Internet Scout Project, a project of the InterNIC, 
based at the University of Wisconsin.
