     Greenhorne & O'Mara, Inc. is pleased to announce that John P. 
     McCarthy, SOPA, recently joined the firm's Environmental Services 
     Group as the Senior Project Manager for Cultural Resources.  
     
     John is widely known for his work in urban and historic cemetery 
     archaeology in connection with transportation and private and public 
     development projects.  He also is the editor/publisher of 
     _African-American Archaeology_, the newsletter of the African-American 
     Archaeology Network.  John brings over 20-years of consulting and 
     review agency experience in the Mid-Atlantic and Upper Midwest to this 
     new position. 
     
     John is looking forward to working closely with the firm's two Senior 
     Archaeologists, Varna Boyd and Benjamin Fischler, Senior Historic 
     Preservation Specialist David Berg, and the rest of the firm's 
     cultural resources staff to help round-out the integrated suite of 
     environmental services that G&O provides to public and private clients 
     throughout the eastern United States.
