We ve been digging in the Panama Viejo site for two years now, and we4ve
found lots of chamber pots. Nothing really fancy though, most of em
just plain tin glazed pottery, with a greenish glaze for the panamanian
majolica ones (red paste, tipycal of Panama) and some ugly ones, really
rough stuff without glaze. We4ve also got some european ones, but im
not sure which type: Columbia Plain?? Mostly recovered from trash pits
and a well deposit in the centre area of Panama Viejo, houses around the
Plaza Mayor. It should be noted that these people were well off. We
can send you some pictures if you like.
