Dear Mike,
you raise some very good points, some of which I had already
thought, but mainly my question was a theoretical one. However, I
have visited some cemeteries where, unfortunately, headstones have
been removed, for whatever reason and surrounding 'supposed' burial
patterns offered no clue as to the nature/direction of the burial.
On a personal note, I believe I signed my name to my prior queery.
Although my E-mail account is in my husbands' name, he is a Satellite
Engineer who gets the willies if I mention the word 'cemetery'! Ah....
but opposites attract.
