Dr. Larry R. Teuber writes:
To my knowledge there is no information available on the nectar
production of alfalfa cultivars. A broad generalization is that
nondormant
cultivars (dormancy class 8 and 9) produce more nectar than dormant
cultivars. The certified alfalfa seed council annually publishes a list
of
cultivars and their fall dormancy. You may want to get a copy of that
list.
