Just to announce we have scored 2 first prizes for honey in the Royal
Adelaide Agricultural & Horticultural Society Show. Theoretically open to
entries from all over Australia but in practice probably only receiving
entries from South Australian apiarists, it is nevertheless a marvellous
feeling that "we must be doing it right".

Classes in which we won first prize were:

Class 42 - Extracted liquid honey,Native Flora (excluding Blue Gum)- Light Amber
for which we entered a Sugar Gum honey (Eucalyptus Cladocalyx)

Class 45 - Extracted liquid honey, Introduced Flora - for which we entered a
Canola honey.

Another Kangaroo Island beekeeper won 2nd prize in Class 42 with a Cup Gum
honey (Eucalyptus cosmophylla).
