Hello again,
 
Thanks to Ted, Barry, and David for their
responses to my 'thin honey' problem.
 
The honey had been stored at room temperature for
over 24 hours when I extracted (on a 70 degree F
day).  Another observation is that on a couple
supers of capped honey, the outermost sides of the
end frames were uncapped and I was able to shake
very thin 'honey' out of the comb.  This is on a
frame that the other side is fully capped.  I did
not extract this side of these frames. My cappings
drainings seems to be thicker, more like I would
expect.  Is it possible that the extracting
process, exposing a large surface area to the air
on a humid day would allow excessive absorption of
moisture.  It seems as though this would not be an
uncommon problem if this were the case.
 
As for now, I had room in my deep freeze for my
harvest so there it sits (safe from fermentation I
would hope) until I figure out what I will do with
it.  Any more thoughts or comments would be most
appreciated, either to the list or to me
privately.
