As far as I've heard and read, there never was a problem eating
honey combs, if you do that in a reasonable way.
The famous German medieval medical doctor Paracelsus said in former
times: "the dosis of a substance makes it to be a poison". That is true
till now.
I think you hardly will eat such a great amount of bee-wax, that it will
become dangerous.
Bee-wax is used in medical drugs for example or in food production. It
passes through the human body without causing any harm.
