Unfortunately, there is no direct relationship between the degree of
capping and the moisture level.
Although a significant amount of capping *may* indicate drier honey,
sometimes capped honey may be too moist. (This condition is usually
accompanied by 'sweating' of the comb)
We have extracted 15% honey from totally uncapped combs, and 18% from
capped ones.
