Mark--
We did a small study of a phosphate mining town from the late 19th
to early 20th centuries in central Florida. There really wasn't much in the
way of archaeology, but we did get a basic history and recorded the extant
structures. It's gray literature, hopefully available through the Florida
Division of Historical Resources. It may not be useful, but you can add it
to your bibliography on the topic.
