I have a question for you. I need to try and locate an early to mid
1800s cemetery that had the headstones removed and has been under
cultivation for the last 50 years. Interviews with locals and a document
search has reduce the location to an area of about an acre. There is
suppositively about two dozen graves in the cemetery. Is there any
geophysical technique that might be useful in locating the graves. The
old standby method would be to strip the plowzone and look for physical
indication of the graves. Do you have any suggestions?
