The Archaeology series has been picked up by Time Life for distribution. As
was discussed on Histarch at the end of last year, you can reach TimeLife
about its Archaeology series and request a list of films and/or order these
films.

Typical films include 2 (rarely 3) 28 minutes shows hosted by John
Rhys-Davies. Sadly, the titles are typically popular and sometimes simply
not accurate. cost is $19.99 + 3.49 S/H Us, $24.99 +4.40 S/H Canadian per
tape (each with 2 or so programs).
Titles currently available are:
Mysteries of Egypt (incl. Forgotten Mummies & Who was cleopatra)
The latter investigates the claims of Black Athena
Secrets of the Aztecs and MAya (incl. The Fall of the Maya,
yes back to the idea of a collapse, and The city of the Gods, which
is Teotihuacan and has about 20 seconds of mention of the Aztecs in
terms of their sacred history)
Holy Land Revelations (incl. who Were the Isrealites, Lot's Cave
(found or not?))
Primal Man (incl. Search for Neanderthal, incl a visit by L. R.
Binford) and Ice Age Crossings)
Aegean Oddyssey (incl. The Lost City of the Aegean and Lost
Treasures of Troy (which emphasizes not the site but the tracing of
the material recovered by H.S. and which disappeared at the end of WW2)
Dark Dynasties (Bells of the Bronze Age (Chinese Bells) and Angkor Wat)
Ancient America (the Ancient North Americans and Cannibals (Tim
White and anasazi cannibalism in part)
Divine Goddesses (The forbidden goddess (Asherah as counterpart to
Yahweh) and Women of Lesbos (mostly on the Thesmophoria))
Riddle of the Monument Builders (Who built the Sphinx, common person
archaeology in Egypt, and Mysteries of Easter Island, ecology and
political competition)
Holy Land Apocalypse - 3 programs - (Killer Quakes of the Bible,
earthquake archaeology, Last Days of the Phillistines, excavations
at Ekron, and The Myth of Masada, archaeology and public
myth/propoganda)
Prehistoric Inhabitants (Cave Beneath the Sea, French cave art, and
People of the Bog, contains segments from Europe and Florida)
The following I have no information on...
Lost Realms of Latin America
Crossroads of Antiquity
Colonial American Intrigue
Roman Disasters
Rediscovering the Americas
So, in a nutshell, I think this is pretty much what is available. Note that
Time-Life's prices are aproximately 1/4 of what some film distributors are
charging for even one of the Archaeology episodes.
Good luck, and happy hunting
