Hi all,
I'm writing this for Callum who's now a student at William and Mary.  He's
interested in finding out who out there has collections from slave
contexts in Eastern Virginia that contained buttons.  He is also
interested in lead or pewter buttons from slave contexts in other parts of
the country as well as Va.  He's not on email, so please respond to me at
